This position will be responsible for all aspects of production for one of the product lines manufactured with our client's USA Organization.  Our client company currently has three product lines; Traditional (Drill Collars, Heavy weights Kelly), Tool Joints and Drill Pipe.  This position will have responsibilities for the Lines scheduling, first level maintenance, quality control, cost control for this product line and Revenue Forecast for the product line.  This position reports to the VP of Manufacturing.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Would be responsible for managing and supervising line production scheduling in order ensure that product is supplied on time and in compliance with all specifications.  Including staffing requirements, work procedures and duty assignments.
• Work with Purchasing and Materials Supply manager to ensure proper supply of material for production line.
• Shall monitor and control manufacturing budgetary expenditures in area of responsibilities.
• Review operations and work with Technical Manager to resolve production or processing problems as well as for Process Improvements .
• Direct and coordinate production, processing, distribution of product line.
• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance and other operational reports to detect production problems and address them through the proper channels for improvements.
• Coordinate and recommend procedures for facility and equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines.
• Supervises line supervisors and leadman in areas of scheduling, time card approval, productivity, efficiency and employee safety.  As well as ensuring that employees are capable of performing their assigned job duties.
• Promotes a safety workplace and conducts self in a safe manner so as not endanger himself/herself or others.
• Support and promote Continual Improvement through the CIT’s program , TQM plan and 5’S”
• Environmental policies are to be respected and enforced.
