Job Description:

Reporting to the Corporate Treasurer, the Director – Foreign Exchange will be responsible for managing the hedging activity of the company’s exposure to over 25 different foreign currencies, totaling a notional $14 billion.

Responsibilities:

· Devise and implement policies and procedures for managing the company’s exposure to foreign exchange risk. Includes daily review and execution of hedging instruments.

· Coordinate and manage foreign exchange trade requests from operations

· Manage two foreign exchange analysts (completing over 4,000 trades annually)

· Be thoroughly familiar with FAS 133 and FAS 157 accounting rules; work in conjunction with company accounting/finance personnel to maximize favorable accounting treatment

· Maintain relationships with hedging counterparties

· Prepare and present monthly analysis of hedging activity to senior management

· Major participation in Finance Risk Committee meetings (monthly)

· Communicate with senior nanagement on actions to prevent, mitigate or manage foreign exchange risk

· Educate and create awareness throughout the company on managing foreign exchange risk

· Working in conjunction with the Director – Risk Management, establish and continually update company’s internal Treasury/Risk Management/FX website

· Provide budget FX rates and projections for FX accounts.

Position Requirements:

The appropriate candidate should have an MBA, 10+ years experience with Financial, Risk Management, Treasury and/or Accounting experience with a large, global public company and proficiency in Excel. An understanding of the global economic environment, the foreign exchange markets, state-of-the-art hedging practices and accounting rules is highly desirable.

Skill set should include:

· Self starter who is able to prioritize and handle diverse range of projects with minimal supervision

· Knowledge of FAS 133 and 157

· Excellent general management, organizational and communication skills

· Demonstrated success in dealing effectively with senior management, accounting/finance and operating divisions

Superior analytical skills and track record of foreign exchange hedging success
