Our client, an active operator in the Texas Panhandle and Western Oklahoma, is searching for an experienced Engineering Technician.
The job duties and responsibilities will be as follows:
- Production/Drilling database monitoring
- New well setup: (Create well and AFE, assign well supervisors and pumpers, input distribution list from land)
- Monitor system and assist as needed with improvements
- Update well information, daily and monthly production information
- Help manage non-op production/proposals
- Input production in reserve analysis software (Aries)
- Verify sales numbers vs. gauge sheets
- Update formation specific data sheets
- Assemble well proposals using engineering template
- Request and review cement recommendations
- Compile/update well files
- Research engineering projects
- Prepare well bore diagrams
Experience and skills: At least one to five years of previous Oil and Gas engineering technician experience.
Candidate must be a team player with good communication skills and have a strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point. Aries (Reserve analysis program) experience is a plus.
Requirements: BS or BA in applicable discipline a strong plus.
