Petroleum Financial Reserves Engineer

Our client, a major financial firm is searching for an additional experienced Engineer to support their financial functions relating to reserves lending. This is an outstanding opportunity to join  a major solid financial institution that has an established presence in the Energy industry.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 yrs of Basin experience in U.S. petroleum reservoir engineering.  You should have been with an upstream E&P company working as a  reservoir or M&A consultant or in a financial institution. Would prefer some financial background if possible, but work with reservoir consultants or M&A firms will be considered. Must be well versed in Office Software programs, especially Excel, as well as Aries and Phd Win reserve programs. In this key role, you will evaluate oil and gas reserves, systems, pipelines and markets in order to support lending and investment decisions. Frequent travel may be involved, primarily in U.S and Canada. Must be able to write and present his/her conclusions effectively with senior management of the bank and its customers, and other bankers and outside representatives.
